The Resource Centre is a collection of teaching and learning resources for teaching kindergarten, primary and secondary Religious Moral Education (RME). These resources are sorted according to the 156 unit documents stated in the Religious and Moral Education Curriculum Document issued in June 2006. The resources consist of:

• Unit documents
• Teaching and learning materials created by teachers 
• Audio-visual aids, reference books, relevant websites and news, etc.

These resources are there to support teachers' different forms of RME in schools which include:

• Classroom activities for RME lessons
• Cross-curriculum classroom activities and
• Other religious activities (e.g. Catholic Society, prayer meetings, religious week, etc)

We will renew the materials in this page regularly such that Religious Education could follow closely the needs of the students and the trend of times. The teaching, learning and assessment strategies of each unit document would state in details how the materials in this page could be used to teach a certain topic. This could lighten the load of RME teachers in preparing for their lessons. The renewal of the materials also needs your generous contribution. If you would like to share with other teachers by contributing the materials that you have made to the “Resource Centre”, please feel free to contact our staff at rme@catholic.edu.hk.

The “Resources Centre” would be rolled out in May 2007. The “Resource Centre” together with the “Hot Links” are both pages that require subscription, therefore members should first subscribe for the service through their present schools in order to gain access to these two pages.
